The Regis Library provides users access to LumenPlus, the university's instance of the EBSCO Discovery Service.
What does that mean?
Patrons can now conduct a single search to produce results across numerous resource points including the library catalog, ebooks, articles, streaming media, and more! It is the single most comprehensive search across the library's various collections and subscriptions.
What are the search tools included in LumenPlus?
LumenPlus searches library database systems from multiple vendors + searches the library catalog Lumen.
Is this the same as an EBSCOhost search?
No, while LumenPlus does use technology from EBSCO, the search includes databases and materials from other content providers. EBSCOhost searches are limited to databases available on the EBSCOhost platform. LumenPlus searches all EBSCO databases plus many more database options from different vendors.
